Some of the developmental property that S&P owns is located in the heart of the 177 corridor in Montgomery County near Exit 109 on Interstate 81. That property has been designated for development as an Urban Development Area by the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors, the Virginia legislature and VDOT. As such, as development occurs many of the commercial and residential lots on the property will provide easy access to Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, hotels, shopping, high end restaurants, and convenience stores.
